Dominique Baker was born on November 2, 1996. She trains with Sportsplex at Prince George's Sport and Learning Complex. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2009, Dominique competed level five. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Evergreen meet. She finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Fantasy Invitational. Dominique won all five gold medals at the State Championships. She competed level six in 2010. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Sportsplex Team Classic. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. Dominique skipped level seven and competed level eight in 2011. She won vault and beam at the New Year Opener and Sportsplex Team Classic. She won beam at the Pikes Peak Cup. Dominique finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. She placed third on vault and tenth all-around at Regionals. In 2012, Dominique finished first on vault and the all-around at the Sportsplex Team Classic. She won all five gold medals at the Manhattan Classic. She won beam and the all-around at the Excalibur Cup. At the Capital Cup, she won vault, bars, beam and the all-around.
Dominique began competing level nine in 2013. She won bars and placed second all-around at the Sportsplex Team Classic. She placed third all-around at the Gasparilla Classic. She finished second on bars and third all-around at the State Championships. Dominique finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She competed at Easterns.
